This economically-priced batch portioning machine is available in two formats – rotary, for round products, and linear, for rectangular or square products.

The machine is built to the same high standards as our more complex machines, using stainless steel and other food grade materials throughout. The cabinet is enclosed by stainless steel and polycarbonate panels for both safety protection and to keep noise emissions to a minimum. Designed for ease of use, the ultrasonic bench top cutter is both simple to operate and quick and easy to clean.

Products are portioned on removable cutting boards made from FDA approved materials. This eases the handling of product when placing into and removing from the machine. Location guides ensure that the product board is placed in the correct position within the machine. Pneumatically operated doors ensure that the only manual operation required is the loading and unloading of product. Variable cut quantities can be selected using the operator touch screen, which is conveniently located close to the loading area.  It is also available with a frame to create a free-standing machine.

Ultrasonic cutting involves high frequency sound waves being generated through a sonotrode oscillating at 20,000 times per second (20KHz). The sound waves are concentrated and evenly distributed along the leading edge of the sonotrode, thereby creating a very effective and unique cutting system. The amount of movement (amplitude) can be varied to suit the product, normally varying between 40 and 80 microns. The generator is housed in the rear control panel and provides the power to the titanium sonotrode via a stainless steel housed transducer and booster.
