compact rotary: options

The compact rotary can be adapted to meet your specific needs by adding in a range of options, including:

  • Centralising of the product
  • Product carriers and base boards
  • Pre-scale weighing
  • Check weighing
  • Radius cut
  • Linear in-feed

The radius cut can be used as an alternative to a full diamater cut where there is a requirement for an odd number of portions from the product. In this case, cut can be achieved by rotating the product, with a fixed cutting head, or by a special radial orbital cutting head, which allows the product to be fixed in position.

more information

Ultrasonic cutting involves high frequency sound waves being generated through a sonotrode oscillating at 20,000 times per second (20KHz). The sound waves are concentrated and evenly distributed along the leading edge of the sonotrode, thereby creating a very effective and unique cutting system. The amount of movement (amplitude) can be varied to suit the product, normally varying between 40 and 80 microns. The generator is housed in the rear control panel and provides the power to the titanium sonotrode via a stainless steel housed transducer and booster.
