in-line semi rotary slicer

From the same basic footprint as the in-line slicer, this model is built around a robust stainless steel tubular frame and substantial baseplate, allowing all components to be mounted for optimum cleanliness, functionality and appearance. Combining in-line technology with a rotary cutting head for multi-cut configuration, this slicer can be used to produce wedges, cubes and slices from blocks and extruded products. The standard format has a single conveyor.

Options include additional independent conveyors for stacking, shingling, waste rejection and buffering. Portion size can be determined by length, time or target weight. Positive holding of the product using a vacuum or mechanical gripper, together with a servo-driven top drive system ensures precise control and minimal waste. For optimum weight control, laser scanning and weighing options are also available.

Ultrasonic cutting involves high frequency sound waves being generated through a sonotrode oscillating at 20,000 times per second (20KHz). The sound waves are concentrated and evenly distributed along the leading edge of the sonotrode, thereby creating a very effective and unique cutting system. The amount of movement (amplitude) can be varied to suit the product, normally varying between 40 and 80 microns. The generator is housed in the rear control panel and provides the power to the titanium sonotrode via a stainless steel housed transducer and booster.
