in-line slicer: standard machine

The in-line model is built around a robust stainless steel tubular frame and sustantial base plate, allowing all components to be mounted for optimum cleanliness, functionality and appearance. Standard format has a single conveyor.

The in-line slicer is ideal for slicing cheese, bakery or meat and pate products. It can slice up to 100 cuts per minute – dependent on product height and type – and can slice down to a thickness of 1mm, with an accuracy of 0.1mm. The machine is ideally suited to integration into an existing product processing line ; loading and offloading can be achieved manually, or linked to other processing or packaging equipment.

Ultrasonic cutting involves high frequency sound waves being generated through a sonotrode oscillating at 20,000 times per second (20KHz). The sound waves are concentrated and evenly distributed along the leading edge of the sonotrode, thereby creating a very effective and unique cutting system. The amount of movement (amplitude) can be varied to suit the product, normally varying between 40 and 80 microns. The generator is housed in the rear control panel and provides the power to the titanium sonotrode via a stainless steel housed transducer and booster.
